Why Nutrition Matters

While nutrition is important for our physical health, what we eat also has a major impact on our mental health. For example, studies have shown that people who eat whole grains have an easier time regulating their mood than those who don’t. Eating a diet rich in Omega-3 fatty acids is also known to help with mood regulation and prevent depression. 

All in all, the food we eat can affect the way we think about ourselves, other people, or even the world around us. A study found that children were less anxious after eating fish oil compared to not taking any supplements.
